Barratt West Midlands has launched a new six-week challenge for buyers in the Black Country, pledging to ensure they find a buyer in just six weeks.
Under the scheme, Barratt West Midlands will use its Movemaker Plus scheme to find an estate agent to sell the home, and if this is not done in six weeks the housebuilder will offer buyers the chance to use their part exchange scheme.
Michelle Barnsley, part exchange manager for Barratt West Midlands, explained: "We instruct an estate agent on your behalf to sell your home. We manage all the valuations, viewings, liaisons and phone calls. All you need to do is agree with the asking price and check the sales particulars are correct."
If buyers choose to use the part exchange scheme, two individual valuations will be conducted and Barratt will then make an offer.
Ms Barnsley said both schemes are ideal for those struggling to sell their property but eager to move to a new home.
Barratt also offers
first time buyers the opportunity to take advantage of the FirstBuy scheme on a number of properties, allowing people to purchase a new home at 80 per cent of its market value.
