One fast-moving Hampshire property-seeker could bypass stamp duty if they purchase a brand new three-bedroom home before 25th March at The Romans at Augusta Park, Taylor Wimpey's popular development of houses for sale in Andover.

First-time buyers who move quickly could make big savings by buying a new Taylor Wimpey property for sale in Andover before the Government ends the stamp duty holiday in March.

The leading housebuilder has one high-quality three-bedroom Andover property available at its The Romans at Augusta Park development which will remain exempt from stamp duty if purchased before 25th March.

The Government announced that it was removing the payment of stamp duty for two years for first-time buyers on properties up to £250,000 in its 2010 budget, but confirmed at the end of the last year that this would not be extended further.

Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: "There is still time for first-time buyers to complete the purchase of a brand new home at Taylor Wimpey Andover's The Romans at Augusta Park before the changes come into effect and therefore save up to £1,900 - that's quite a saving at a time when every penny counts.

"If you are looking for new homes for sale in Andover and you're in a position to buy now, then speak to one of our experienced consultants at The Romans at Augusta Park who can guide you through the process and ensure that everything is completed before the deadline."

The impressive three-bedroom link-detached 'Fishbourne' at Plot 465 is available to reserve now at The Romans at Augusta Park, ready for completion ahead of the March stamp duty deadline.

The development enjoys a prime position to the north of Andover town centre. A new primary school, community centre, sports hall and playing fields are to be constructed alongside the homes, as well as employment areas which may include new local shops and leisure amenities.

Currently, a range of shops, including a supermarket, is within easy reach of the development, a choice of primary schools can be found within half a mile, while a good selection of secondary and further education is located in Andover.

Andover town centre is just over a mile from The Romans at Augusta Park, and home to the Chantry Centre for shopping, a cinema and a theatre, a leisure centre with pool and classes and activities for adults and children, plus a choice of gyms.

Commuters will appreciate that Andover railway station is also just a short distance from the development and provides regular services to Salisbury, Basingstoke and London Waterloo, while the M3 and M4 are each within a 20-mile radius.

To enjoy stamp duty savings with a quick move to a brand new home at The Romans at Augusta Park, property-seekers should visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Cheviot Road, Andover, SP11 6RD, and open seven days a week between 10am and 5pm.
