First-time buyers can now secure selected homes with just a 5% deposit at Taylor Wimpey's sought-after Bramble Walk development of property for sale in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

Taylor Wimpey is offering aspiring first-time buyers a leg up on to the Bedfordshire property ladder at its in-demand Bramble Walk development of new homes for sale in Biggleswade.

The leading housebuilder has teamed up with the Government's Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), to offer qualifying purchasers the opportunity to secure selected houses for sale in Biggleswade through the FirstBuy initiative for just 80% of their full purchase price - including a deposit as low as 5%, subject to status.

The spacious three-bedroom Plot 59 'Charleston' terraced house is just one of the high-quality homes available under FirstBuy at the Taylor Wimpey Biggleswade development, and can be accessed by qualifying purchasers for 80% of its £200,000 purchase price - that's just £160,000 - including a deposit of only £10,000.

Steve Rolt, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, says: "Thanks to FirstBuy in Biggleswade, those who thought a first home was out of their reach can think again.

"Not only that, but first-time buyers who feared they'd only be able to afford a pokey flat on the second-hand homes market will be amazed by the generous space the maintenance-free 'Charleston' property in Biggleswade offers them."

Packed full of character, the beautiful 'Charleston' boasts a spacious dual-aspect lounge opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a contemporary kitchen/dining room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a further double bedroom, a guest bedroom and a main bathroom, while allocated parking can be found outside.

Like all new homes at Bramble Walk, the 'Charleston' is completed to a high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven hob and hood.

Alternative three-bedroom homes available to reserve now at Bramble Walk include the 'Eleanor' and 'Coniston', both priced at £215,000, while the four-bedroom detached Plot 99 'Hillier' is priced at just £275,000.

Under FirstBuy, Taylor Wimpey and the HCA boost the purchaser's down-payment with a joint loan of 20%, which is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term, or when the property is sold. To be eligible for FirstBuy, customers must be first-time buyers with a household income below £60,000.

Bramble Walk is a stunning collection of 139 new homes creating a seamless natural extension to the well-connected Bedfordshire town of Biggleswade.

The town boasts a wide selection of high street and independent shops, a bustling weekly market, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, health facilities, a cinema and a leisure centre and pool, while a good choice of schools ensures children of all ages are well catered for.

For commuters, Biggleswade railway station is only a mile from the development and runs frequent services to London King's Cross in as little as 35 minutes, while the A1 for the capital and the north is just half a mile from home.

To find out more about FirstBuy at Bramble Walk, house-hunters should visit the Sales Centre, located in Jupiter Way, off Saxon Drive, Biggleswade, and open from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday and Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm.
