The up-and-coming area of Sutton, south London, is the site for a new development.

With a number of studio apartments on offer at Aspects, the new site is the ideal location for first-time buyers and those looking to move out of the family home.

Developer Barratt recently sold one of the large studio apartments to student Marc Lowman who was keen to continue enjoying the independence he has had as a student when he started working.

Mr Lowman, 24, commented: "I went to look at Aspects and looked first at a standard studio apartment, but then I walked into the larger split-level studio apartment and it took my breath away! As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to make it happen, even if it meant pushing my budget a bit further."

The Aspects development in SM1 is almost sold out and comprises stylish new apartments with designer kitchens, a 24 hour concierge service, residents' gymnasium, modern bathrooms and allocated parking. It is located minutes away from Sutton station and has striking views across London from the upper floors.

Barratt converted a 16-storey office building in the heart of Sutton into 169 apartments and the housebuilder is offering first time buyers, such as Mr Lowman, the opportunity to have their five per cent deposit and one per cent stamp duty paid, as well as contributing £1,000 towards legal and moving costs.
