New Homes In Colchester Are Tailor-Made For Families

David and Paula Bobby didn't take long to find the perfect place for their family at Taylor Wimpey's The Boulevard II, Tamarinds, development of property for sale in Colchester, Essex.

"We visited the development over the 2011 May Bank Holiday, fell in love with the showhome and we haven't looked back since!"

The Bobbys were soon settling into a brand new four-bedroom, detached 'Sandringham' house, which offers the perfect solution for the growing family of talented musicians.

Paula is a music teacher, David works as head of business development in performing and creative arts for examination board Trinity College London, while Josh and Jess are both keen musicians.

David says: "There's a second reception room on the ground floor which has become our dedicated music room, while I use the fourth bedroom as my office.

"The kids are left to run wild on the top floor, where their bedrooms are, and they have plenty of room for their instruments - including Josh's two drum kits. In fact, the sound-proofing is so good in our house that you can barely hear him playing the drums upstairs!"

While the Bobbys have been impressed with their home, the convenient location of The Boulevard II has also gone down well with them.
"After the thrill of finding such a great house, the location was almost irrelevant, but we can't find fault with that either," says David.

"We're just over a mile from the town centre, and only a 15-minute walk from the railway station. There's a wonderful woodland area nearby, which is great for walks, while the overall plans for the development look very good - it's been very well designed. In time, The Boulevard II will be a nice, quiet place to live with plenty of greenery."
