More than 108 retirees and their families turned out for an exclusive preview of McCarthy & Stone's new Retirement Living development, Isabel Court in Exeter, this week.
The event offered visitors a first glimpse of the development's new fully furnished show complex, and gave them the opportunity to take a tour of the communal facilities and landscaped gardens before meeting to mingle in the residents' lounge with a complementary glass of bubbly.
Aileen King, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone, commented: "We are really delighted that Isabel Court received such a warm welcome from the many visitors who came to take a look around throughout the course of the event. It's been great to see that Isabel Court has been so well received within the area.
"The development represents an exciting opportunity for retirees in Exeter who may not have previously considered the many benefits of Retirement Living with McCarthy & Stone. At our event, we hope we were able to show our guests just how easy it could be to make a dream move here a reality."
Retirement Living from McCarthy & Stone is designed to enable the over 55's the freedom to enjoy their retirement to the fullest, safe in the knowledge that they still own their own home.
Isabel Court is a development of 50 one and two bedroom apartments starting from £196,950. Residents can enjoy landscaped gardens, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family or friends to stay at the development's guest suite.
The development is situated opposite the historical St Thomas Church and backs onto St Thomas Park. St Thomas is a popular suburb of Exeter with a railway station and doctors just half a mile away from the development, along with a range of local convenience stores.
