Taylor Wimpey gave some inquisitive primary school children a VIP tour of Isaac's Place, its sought-after development of new homes for sale in Grantham.
Primary school youngsters were given a unique insight into how new homes are built during a guided tour of Isaac's Place, Taylor Wimpey's development of houses for sale in Grantham.
Five-year-olds from The West Grantham Academy Earl of Dysart School were invited to the leading housebuilder's Isaacs Place development of Grantham property in Caunt Road for the special educational visit on Tuesday 7th February 2012.
During their trip, the pupils learned about how a new home is constructed from its foundations to its finishing touches, and they were shown around the Isaac's Place showhomes to give them a first-hand experience of the completed product.
They were also taught about the dangers of playing on or near building sites by Taylor Wimpey Sales Manager Janet Robinson, who acted as tour guide for the day.
"The visit was a fantastic success and the youngsters were very keen to find out more about the work that goes into building this new development of properties for sale in Grantham just around the corner from their school," said Janet.
"At Taylor Wimpey, we are always keen to develop good relationships with the local community and we were delighted to be able to offer our assistance to The West Grantham Academy Earl of Dysart by hosting this educational tour."
Hazel Craigs, reception and Year 1 teacher at Earl of Dysart, added: "The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at Isaac's Place and it was a really interesting experience for them to discover how a new house is created. I'd like to thank Taylor Wimpey for inviting us along and showing us all around."
A selection of two and three-bedroom homes is currently available to reserve at Isaac's Place, with prices starting at just £99,995. Selected plots can be purchased by qualifying first-time buyers for 80% of their full price under the FirstBuy scheme, details of which are available from the Sales Executive.
The Isaac's Place Sales Centre and showhomes are located off Caunt Road, Grantham, and open daily from 10.30am until 5.30pm.
