Home seekers and property investors in the Cambridge area have been urged to prepare themselves for a new range of city apartments.

Miller Homes has announced that, for the first time, it is building properties in Cambridge, to the north of the city centre.

The development in George Nuttall Close, just off Milton Road, will eventually consist of one and two-bedroom apartments.

Steve Garton, area sales manager, said: "The majority of apartments will be one bedroom. These will have dual appeal as both first-time buyers and investors will be keen to buy here.

"These will start at just £199,950 so we think the price tag will also be attractive to purchasers and they will sell fast."

The apartments will be situated near to Cambridge Business Park and Cambridge Science Park, as well as the M11, A14 and A11.

Commuters travelling by car can reach London in around 90 minutes and Oxford in 100 minutes.
