Taylor Wimpey is offering
first time buyers a helping hand onto the property ladder by providing access to the government-backed NewBuy scheme at
Limes Park.
House-hunters in
Basingstoke will be able to purchase a new home with just a five per cent deposit.
The initiative also enables purchasers to access 95 per cent loan-to-value mortgages on properties up to the value of £500,000.
Tim Betts, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: "Time and again our buyers tell us that it is mortgage availability, not mortgage affordability, which is preventing them from buying."
He explained that the scheme will also help homeowners looking to move to a new property in the area.
Limes Park offers a host of family-sized properties to choose from as well as a number of two-bedroom apartments.
The development is situated on the north-western fringes of Basingstoke with the town centre just two miles from the development, offering a host of amenities and facilities.
