Barratt Homes is offering
first time buyers the opportunity to buy a new apartment at its
Minstrel Park development through the FirstBuy scheme.
An apartment in
Stratford-upon-Avon could cost as little as £650 per month with the help of the shared equity initiative.
With FirstBuy, buyers will be offered a loan of up to 20 per cent of the price of the property jointly funded by Barratt West Midlands and the Government's Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The remaining 80 per cent is then provided by the buyers themselves, with up to 75 per cent of this coming from a mortgage, leaving a deposit of just five per cent.
Lisa Preston, sales manager for Barratt West Midlands, said: "With FirstBuy, buyers could move into the two-bedroom apartment with a deposit of just £8,298 and a mortgage of only £124,463."
Minstrel Park is set in an ideal location surrounded by culture and history along with a great selection of pubs, restaurants, theatres, parks and gardens.
