The streets of Eastleigh will be blooming marvellous this summer thanks to a donation by Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties.
The Eastleigh-based house builder, which is building 11 developments across Hampshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire and Dorset, has donated £500 to Valley Park in Bloom to help pay for floral displays in the area.
Roz Wells, sales manager for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: "We were more than happy to help out with this project as we are always keen to support our local community."
Andrew Purr, clerk to Valley Park Parish Council, added: "It's a big thank you from us to Taylor Wimpey for making this donation, which we've definitely put to good use. We've spent a great deal of time creating some truly beautiful floral displays across the town, which I believe will be enjoyed by both local residents and visitors to the area."
Attending the launch of the beautiful display were Southampton Football Club's top goal scorer Rickie Lambert children from Knightswood Primary School and St Francis Primary School and Taylor Wimpey's Roz Wells.
