Over 150 retirees and their families turned out for an exclusive preview of McCarthy & Stone's Later Living development, Brookes Court.
The event offered visitors a glimpse of the development's fully furnished show complex and gave them the opportunity to take a tour of the communal facilities before meeting to mingle in the residents' lounge with a complementary glass of bubbly.

Richard Williams, regional Managing Director for McCarthy & Stone, commented: "We are really delighted that Brookes Court received such a warm response from the many visitors who came to take a look around throughout the course of the event. It's great to see that Brookes Court has been so well received within the area.

"The development represents an exciting opportunity for retirees in Whitchurch, who may not have previously considered the many benefits of Later Living with McCarthy & Stone. At our event, we hope we were able to show our guests just how easy it could be to make a dream move here a reality."

Later Living from McCarthy & Stone is designed to enable the over 60's the freedom to enjoy their retirement to the fullest, safe in the knowledge that they still own their own home.

Brookes Court consists of 35 one and two bedroom apartments and is situated in the heart of Whitchurch. Each apartment includes specialist features such as 24-hour emergency call points, electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, illuminated light switches, a camera entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.

Residents can also enjoy landscaped gardens, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family and friends to stay in the development's guest suite. For added peace of mind, there is also a house manager, who oversees the running of the development.

Prices start from just £129,950. For more information about the event, or the apartments on offer at Brookes Court, please call the sales office on 01948 661131, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10.30am to 5.00pm.
