Barratt Homes is helping
first time buyers in
Burton-on-Trent get onto the property ladder thanks to the FirstBuy scheme.
The government-backed initiative means that property-seekers visiting its
Orton Place development can buy a new home for just 80 per cent of its value.
With FirstBuy, purchasers will be offered a loan of up to 20 per cent of the price of the property jointly funded by Barratt West Midlands and the government's Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The scheme means that a three-bedroom Kingsville style home, priced at £150,950, can be purchased with a mortgage of just £607.41 per month.
Lisa Preston, sales manager for Barratt West Midlands commented: "Orton Place is a great development in Burton-on-Trent offering a three-bedroom family house which is ideal for young families looking to buy their first home."
Orton Place currently offers one-bedroom apartments priced from £84,950 and two and three-bedroom homes available from £129,950.
