Barratt is hoping to offer keen golfers in Somerset the run of the green next month - by sponsoring a hole at one the area's most popular events.
The housebuilder's Fieldways development in Paulton is teaming up with nearby Farrington Golf and Country Club for its much anticipated Pro Am event and Open Week, starting on Sunday 22 July.
"This is a fantastic way for Barratt to increase its links within our community and really get involved with local events," said Jonathan Lawrence of Farrington Golf and Country Club.
"I loved Fieldways so much that I bought my own home here - and that is how the development got involved with our open week. It just shows that Barratt is keen to become part of this neighbourhood - and its involvement doesn't just stop when the homes are built."
Fieldways offers the best of both worlds - an idyllic setting right on the doorstep of magnificent rural scenery within touching distance of all local amenities. The development offers an impressive mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes to choose from, just a stone's throw away from the nearby cities of Bristol and Bath.
"We always think very carefully about where to place our new developments - and Fieldways really does offer a fantastic location for buyers looking for new homes in this region," said Barratt sales director, Andrea Pilgrim.
"Those who come to live here can be assured that we will continue to contribute all we can to make this development a very special place in which to put down roots. Sometimes this involves sponsoring events - like at Farrington Golf Club. At other times, we like to help with projects at nearby schools. It is all about cementing our relationship with local people and organisations.
Andrea continued, "I wish Jonathan and Farrington Golf and Country Club every success with this exciting event. And if any of the competitors play well enough to score a hole in one - let's hope it is the Barratt hole."
Fieldways is situated within the village of Paulton. It is well served by well known supermarkets and other local amenities - including schools, churches, pubs and restaurants.
