Having sold countless Taylor Wimpey homes during her career, Janet Dean had no hesitation in buying one of the leading housebuilder's new homes in Norfolk.

After her grown-up children had flown the family home in Essex, the Sales Executive for the leading housebuilder decided to up sticks and move to Norfolk to take advantage of the lower prices of new houses in Norfolk and to be nearer her sister in Diss.

After discovering Taylor Wimpey's Beaufort Park development of new homes in Carbrooke, near Watton, Janet had no hesitation in investing in a brand new home there.
"The Beaufort Park development of properties in Carbrooke has so much going for it, I absolutely love it here," says Janet.

"The development is in a beautiful, rural location, yet it's far from isolated. It's a lovely 20-minute walk into Watton town centre, which has everything you need, including the wonderful market on Wednesdays.

"There's a big Tesco supermarket, plenty of shops, a leisure centre and schools. Nearer to home, on the edge of Beaufort Park, is a handy Spar convenience store, a petrol station and an Indian restaurant."

Janet's also been impressed by the friendly Norfolk welcome she has received since moving to the area.

She says: "I was actually a little taken aback by how friendly the people are around here - it's wonderful. When I first moved in, I popped into the bank in Watton and while I was there I asked for directions to the medical centre and the bank manager actually walked me there!"

Janet works as a Sales Executive at The Hampdens, Taylor Wimpey East Anglia's development in Costessey, near Norwich, which is a pleasant 20-mile drive from Beaufort Park.

"I couldn't ask for a better commute," says Janet. "I take the old Norwich Road and it's a beautiful drive through the countryside. There are never any traffic jams which I wasn't used to, as getting into Southend used to be a nightmare.

"Beaufort Park's got some very good road links, as you can easily get to the A47 and A11 from here for Norwich.

"A bus also stops next to the development, and goes directly to Norwich, including stops at the city's university and hospital."

There's a stunning portfolio of new homes available now at Beaufort Park, with prices starting at £105,995 for two-bedroom starter homes, while three-bedroom houses are priced from just £121,995 and four-bedroom properties from as little as £164,995.

To make choosing one of these high-quality homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for first-time buyers and those with a property to sell.

The NewBuy scheme offers credit-worthy purchasers the chance to secure their new home with a 95% loan-to-value mortgage, whether they are a first-time buyer or have a home to sell. Meanwhile, Part Exchange sees Taylor Wimpey offer homeowners a guaranteed price for their existing property, based on the average of independent valuations.

Alternatively, the popular easymover scheme sees Taylor Wimpey help find a buyer for a homeowner's current property. Ninety per cent of properties are sold successfully through the initiative, with buyers typically able to sell and exchange contracts within a matter of weeks, rather than the many months it can take if marketing their own home. Taylor Wimpey can even cover the cost of estate agents' fees and pay for a full removals service.

Incentives can be tailored to customers' individual circumstances and are subject to availability, with full details available from the Sales Executive.

Beaufort Park enjoys a peaceful woodland location between the quiet village of Carbrooke and the attractive market town of Watton, which offers shops catering for everyday needs and a choice of nursery and primary schools.

For a wider choice of shopping and leisure, Dereham and Thetford are only eight and 15 miles from the development, respectively, and the city of Norwich is less than 25 miles away by road.

To find out more about Beaufort Park and the opportunities there, the Sales Information Centre and showhome are located off Norwich Road, between Watton and Carbrooke, and open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Mondays 1.30pm to 5pm.
