Work has started on a new wave of Barratt's popular one and two-bedroom iPads in Llanishen, Cardiff.

Following the rapid sale of the first batch of iPads at Ty Glas Square, Barratt expects the second phase to be a similar success.

Barratt has already built or is continuing to build iPads in various parts of south Wales, including Vale Meadows in Radyr and at Cardiff Bay.

Sales director Sandra Dixon said: "We knew that the iPad would prove a great concept in south Wales but the scale of this success has exceeded all expectations.

"We are delighted to be able to announce plans for more of these one and two-bedroom homes at Ty Glas Square in Llanishen."

At the end of September, Barratt held its iPads@Cardiff Central launch at the Millennium Centre, attracting a high level of interest from potential buyers.
