Community groups in the village of Cuddington are to benefit from a £10,000 donation from Taylor Wimpey North West.
The leading local home builder, which recently launched its much-anticipated new housing development in Cuddington, Eden Grange, made the generous contribution to Cheshire West and Chester Council to assist local community groups within the Cuddington parish area.
Gareth Owen, land and planning director for Taylor Wimpey North West, comments: "At Taylor Wimpey we take our responsibility within the communities where we build extremely seriously, which is why we were so keen to offer financial support to community groups within Cuddington.
"From an early stage of planning consultation for our new development, it was apparent that there was little need for an additional community facility in Cuddington. We therefore felt that more could be achieved in this strong community by making the funds available for the benefit of local groups.
"We are keen to enhance and become a part of this community spirit and are very much looking forward to seeing how the funding will be distributed to local organisations by working with both the Parish Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council."
Taylor Wimpey's Eden Grange development, situated on Warrington Road, launched earlier this month and hosts a fine selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, with prices currently starting from £285,000.
