The UK's leading retirement developer, McCarthy & Stone, is holding a special information day later this month, offering interested parties the opportunity to find out more about its forthcoming Later Living and Assisted Living developments in Burgess Hill.
With construction of the two developments already well underway at the site on The Brow, off Queen Elizabeth Avenue, McCarthy & Stone is inviting prospective purchasers to attend an event at The South Lodge Hotel, in Lower Beeding, near Horsham on 23rd November, to get a closer look at the properties which are being built.
During presentations at 12.00pm and 3.00pm, visitors will be able to hear all about the plans for Clayton Court and Corbett Court ahead of their completion in May 2013, as well as having opportunity to speak to a dedicated team of professional advisors about the properties and lifestyle on offer.
Those who attend can also find out about McCarthy & Stone's Moving Experience package, where purchasers can have the cost of estate agent and solicitors' fees covered by the retirement developer. And, in order to help with the day of the move, a free de-cluttering and removals service can be arranged.
Sharon Callcut, regional marketing manager for McCarthy & Stone, explained: "We understand that the decision to move in later life can be a difficult one, not only for purchasers themselves, but also for their families. At McCarthy & Stone, we aim to make the buying process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
"By attending our event at The South Lodge Hotel, visitors will be able to meet with our advisors and discuss the options available to help make moving a reality. It will also provide a great opportunity for guests to take a look at what life could be like at either Clayton Court or Corbett Court. We urge anyone interested to pop along and see us on the day."
McCarthy & Stone developments offer the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment specifically designed for later life. Once complete, the complexes at Burgess Hill will offer two different types of lifestyle that have designed specifically to meet the varying needs of the over 60's in the area.
Clayton Court, a complex of 46 stylish Later Living properties, is being built exclusively for active over 60's. Meanwhile, Corbett Court, a collection of 56 Assisted Living apartments, will offer those over 70 a host of optional care and support packages, including domestic assistance, that help make life that little bit easier.
Both Clayton Court and Corbett Court will house a shared lounge, a hotel style guest suite, landscaped gardens and a laundry room. As standard in all McCarthy & Stone properties, each individual apartment will incorporate thoughtful features such as 24 hour emergency call points, electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, a camera entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.
Those opting for Assisted Living at Corbett Court will also benefit from an hour of domestic assistance each week as part of their service charge, and flexible personal care can also be organised at an additional cost for those individuals who require it. An on-site restaurant is also provided so that residents can enjoy a hot meal 365 days a year.
In addition to offering age exclusive apartments, the retirement developer also provides a range of financial services, including a pension annuity service, equity release, legal services and guaranteed funeral plans.
