A dedicated McCarthy & Stone site manager is celebrating after scooping three prestigious industry awards in less than a year.
Keith Julier, who is currently working at the retirement developer's Welwyn Garden City site, has been recognised for his commitment to healthy and safety by winning the Regional Site Safety Award as well as the 2012 National Site Safety Manager of the Year, having scored an impressive average performance rating of 97 per cent in the regional scoring.
The awards round off a successful 2012 for Keith, who earlier this year was also commended by the National House-building Council (NHBC) for displaying exemplary levels of 'Pride in the Job' and site management skills while working at McCarthy & Stone's Ermine Court development in Ware.
Nigel Sibley, regional managing director for McCarthy & Stone commented: "At McCarthy & Stone we are particularly proud of our developments, and the high-quality build that our customers have come to expect from us. Health and safety of our sites is also paramount. Keith is an excellent example of a site manager who takes these ideals and makes it a reality. We could not be happier that his commitment and dedication has been recognised in this way."
Keith, who has been with McCarthy & Stone for 10 years, said: "I am very proud of what we have achieved at both the developments I have worked on this year, and I hope that by my winning these awards, many more visitors will be attracted to come and see the quality properties on offer."
Keith is presently overseeing construction at a new Assisted Living development located on The Campus, close to the centre of Welwyn Garden City. Comprising 59 one and two bedroom purpose built apartments, when complete the development will provide an extensive range of facilities and support services to help residents retain independence in later life.
McCarthy & Stone's Assisted Living developments provide the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment specifically designed for the over 70s. In addition, they offer a helping hand through flexible care and support packages, including domestic assistance, that make life that little bit easier.
Facilities include a shared lounge, an on-site restaurant, guest suite, laundry room and a lift. A dedicated estate manager ensures the smooth running of the development and staff are on site 24 hours a day. There is also a security entrance system plus 24-hour emergency call points to provide peace of mind for both residents and their families. All properties are low maintenance and energy efficient.
Apartments are expected to be released for sale in January 2013.
