One of the country's leading housebuilders is set to return to the Brighouse area after securing 10.4 acres of land.
Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire plans to build 147 homes, off Spout House Lane, in Hipperholme, providing much-needed places to live for local people and families.
Speaking of the new development Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire sales director, Simon Whalley, said: "Meadowcroft is an exciting new development and is the first time we have returned to the area since the success of our site in Bailiff Bridge, over seven years ago.
"The new site will feature a range of two, three, four and five bedroom properties suitable as first-time buyer starter homes through to larger properties for growing families providing an extensive choice of house types."
Located just three miles from Halifax, the Persimmon Homes development offers prospective customers a 10 year new home warranty and a number of energy efficiency benefits.
