Barratt Homes has launched a selection of two bedroom apartments at its
Dove Hill development in Stonehouse.
These new residences will supplement its existing selection of three and four bedroom townhouses, with demand expected to be high from those who are looking to step onto the housing ladder for the first time.
The Norton is the first of these two apartments and is targeted towards
first time buyers, offering a spacious lounge, dining area and a separate fitted kitchen, while two double bathrooms and a main bathroom are also included. Prices for the property begin at £131,995.
As an alternative, first time buyers may be interested in the Milton apartment, which is available from £135,995 and has the added benefit of an ensuite for the master bedroom.
Dove Hill is situated in Stonehouse, to the west of the Cotswold Hills, providing residents with some truly breathtaking views of the local scenery.
It is around three miles west of Stroud and twelve miles south of Gloucestershire, while a selection of shops are available in the centre of Gloucester, including the Gloucester Quays Outlet, where both high street and designer labels have shops.
Commuters considering a move to the development will need to be assured of its transport links and the local train station is just 0.8 miles away.
Housebuyers can save money on one of the Dove Hill properties by taking advantage of the FirstBuy scheme, which can provide buyers with up to 20 per cent of the price of a new home, with the funding coming from Baratt and the government's Homes and Communities Agency.
