Taylor Wimpey took a break from building high-quality new homes in Aylesbury to help spread the Christmas spirit among homeowners at the Oasis at Buckingham Park development.

Residents of a new community came together to celebrate the season of goodwill during a Christmas carol service, held with help from leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey at the Oasis at Buckingham Park development of properties in Aylesbury.

In recent months, the opening of a community centre and a primary school in Buckingham Park has brought many residents together for the first time at the popular development of new homes for sale in Aylesbury, turning neighbours into friends.

On Wednesday 19th December, Aylesbury property owners joined pupils and teachers from Buckingham Park CofE Primary School at the carol service - and headteacher Nick Waldron said the festive event helped the blossoming community to flourish even further.

He says: "We see it as our mission to become a focal point of this wonderful community and - at the end of what is only the school's first term - we feel a good way towards achieving that goal.

"Since the community centre and the school opened earlier this year, we have noticed a strengthening of relations between residents and we celebrated these friendships at our carol service.

"The event took place at Jubilee Square - the heart of the development - and saw us mark Christmas in a traditional way with refreshments and seasonal songs.

"Taylor Wimpey very kindly provided everything we needed to make the evening a success, which included mince pies, mulled wine, safety equipment and glow sticks that lit up the night-time service!"

Steve Rolt, Sales and Marketing Manager for Taylor Wimpey Aylesbury, says: "We are strong believers in building not just homes, but communities - and central to our ethos is supporting the activities that bring people together, which is why we were delighted to help Buckingham Park Primary School with their carol service."

Three and four-bedroom houses are currently available to reserve from £240,000 at Taylor Wimpey's Oasis development at Buckingham Park. For more information, property-seekers should visit the Sales Centre, located off Prince Rupert Drive, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP19 9RA, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm).
