The Croft, an age-exclusive community in Bourne for those aged 55 years and over, will host two presentations on investments, financial planning and asset protection during January.

The presentations will be held on Thursday 10 and Thursday 31 January, from 18:00 until 19:30, and will include question and answer sessions. Places are limited so those interested are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Two financial services professionals will offer sought-after advice - completely free of charge - on protecting assets and wealth preservation.

The presentations will be very useful for people who might be considering 'downsizing' their property, the financial implications of retirement or protecting their assets from such things as Inheritance Tax.

Residents at The Croft and anyone interested in purchasing an age-exclusive property - as well as family members assisting in the search - are welcome to attend.

For more information on the presentations, or to book your place, call into The Croft sales office on North Road in Bourne.

The Croft has been developed by Larkfleet Homes and Keystone Developments. Larkfleet has previously held wine and cheese tasting sessions, Christmas craft afternoons, a talk on the history of Bourne as well as art and flower arranging classes at The Croft - all of which proved extremely popular.

As part of The Croft development, an existing manor house located on site has been restored to its former glory and will act as the 'hub' of the retirement community. The manor house will also hold the presentations in January.

The Croft consists of 68 one and two-bedroom bungalows and two and three-bedroom chalets arranged around attractively landscaped courtyards. The renovated manor house also has a two-bedroom apartment available to homebuyers.

The Croft is being marketed as not only a place to live but as a community of like-minded people who enjoy a lifestyle full of possibilities. Homeowners at The Croft will be able to live the life they want to lead, in a secure and caring environment.
