Those who've made it their New Year's resolution to move to a brand new home in Ormskirk in 2013 are being urged to visit Oakwood Park this Sunday (January 20).

From 11am to 4pm Redrow is hosting a homebuyers' surgery and, with the help of mortgage specialists, will be giving customers' finances a health check and guiding them through the various incentives available.

Visitors will be able to discover how the NewBuy scheme could enable them to purchase a stylish new home with only a 5% deposit; while existing home owners will be able to learn how part exchange or Mastermove could help them secure a buyer so they can move quickly and easily.

Julie Harper, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: "The New Year is a time for new starts and our message for those who are thinking of moving home in 2013 is simple - come and talk to Redrow. We're committed to customer service and want to make moving simple and stress-free for purchasers, which is why we're holding a homebuyers' surgery at Oakwood Park this Sunday.

"Visitors will be able to talk to our friendly, experienced sales consultants and mortgage specialists about the incentives available to help make moving to their dream home a reality."

Oakwood Park features a choice of three and four-bedroom homes with current prices from £176,995.

Thanks to NewBuy, savings of around £9,000 could be enough for a deposit.

The Government-backed scheme is great for first time buyers, but can also be used by other groups of purchasers including those who want to move buy perhaps don't have substantial equity in their current home.

Alternatively, buyers with a property to sell could take advantage of part exchange and simply trade in their old home towards the cost of a new one. Or they could enlist a tried and tested local agent to market their home through Redrow's Mastermove service. Redrow will monitor the agent's activity and even pay their fees.

Located in Wigan Road, the homes at Oakwood Park are within walking distance of Ormskirk town centre, giving residents easy access to shops and leisure facilities. With schools nearby, it's ideal for those with children.

To find out how Redrow could help you move to a brand new home in 2013 visit Oakwood Park for the homebuyers' surgery this Sunday. Alternatively, the show home is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
