Wanting to move home but being unable to sell your existing property is a problem faced by many potential house hunters. But for one couple in Swansea, housebuilder Taylor Wimpey offered the perfect solution.

Dan Cottrell and his partner Donna Marsden have recently part exchanged their way into a brand new home at Taylor Wimpey's Bryn Newydd development in Derwen Fawr.

Dan explains: "We wanted to move to the development primarily because of its fantastic seaside setting and also its convenient road links in and around Swansea. After seeing the Fairfield house type we were really impressed. It's a stunning home; set over three floors, it's very spacious and the views from the top two rooms are spectacular."

After falling in love with the four bedroom Fairfield home, Dan and Donna then found out about Taylor Wimpey's Part Exchange scheme*.

Dan adds: "We tried to sell our old home ourselves but we were struggling to do so. When the sales executives at Bryn Newydd told us about part exchange it seemed the perfect solution. Everything was explained clearly and nothing was too much trouble for the team, making the whole thing very simple - I would definitely recommend the Part Exchange scheme if you're struggling to sell your current home."

The house builder's popular Part Exchange scheme is a great option for people wanting to upgrade to a bigger property but can't find a buyer for their current one. Broken chains are no longer an issue with the scheme, as Taylor Wimpey buys your current property, enabling you to focus on purchasing your new home. As the house builder buys your home at an agreed price, there is no need to worry about paying any costly estate agent fees, leaving you extra money for things like furnishing your new home!

Sara Taylor, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey South Wales, concludes: "We're delighted that we've been able to help Dan and Donna make the move into their new home using part exchange. We speak to people every week who desperately want to move but are really struggling to sell their current property, which is why the scheme is such a valuable tool. If you're keen to move out of your old home and into a new one, then head down to Bryn Newydd today!

"It's a wonderful development; set in a fabulous location with high quality homes and fantastic customer service - Bryn Newydd has it all!"

Taylor Wimpey is currently offering a collection of four bedroom detached properties at Bryn Newydd, with prices starting from £329,995.

House hunters interested in the exclusive homes available at Bryn Newydd should visit the sales and marketing suite open daily between 10.00am and 5.00pm.
