With show homes now open and the offer of 95% mortgages, there's never been a better time to buy a brand new Redrow home on the Fylde coast.

The Government-backed NewBuy initiative is available at Whitehill Meadows, between Lytham and Blackpool, enabling customers to snap up a stylish new home with only a 5% deposit.

And to explain how the scheme works Redrow is hosting a special event this Sunday (March 10).

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: "NewBuy can help a whole host of buyers and we're inviting people to join us on Sunday so that we can guide them through the scheme. Because NewBuy customers should only need a relatively small deposit of around 5%, compared with the 20% most lenders require, they could find they're able to step onto the property ladder sooner than they anticipated and maybe buy somewhere that they can grow into not out of.

"NewBuy is also great for second steppers who want and need somewhere larger to start a family but perhaps don't have substantial equity in the home they're moving from."

Located in Lytham St Anne's Way, Whitehill Meadows features a good choice of four-bedroom homes with current prices start from £237,995. Thanks to NewBuy customers could find that a deposit of around £12,000 is enough to secure one of the stylish properties.

Featuring designs from the sought-after New Heritage Collection, the homes look very traditional, taking inspiration from the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era. Inside, however, they are bright, modern and full of family friendly features.

The quality and finish of the properties can be appreciated with a visit to the show homes.

"Whitehill Meadows is really starting to take shape now. We've opened the show homes and welcomed the first residents and as people see the development progress we're seeing an increase in enquiries from potential purchasers," Claire adds.

"We'd invite anyone who's looking for a new home on the Fylde coast to come along and look around and talk to us about how we can help them move to a brand new home."

Whitehill Meadows offers residents the chance to choose their pace in life - the excitement and entertainment of Blackpool, the thriving city of Preston or the quiet, more relaxed Lytham.

Just minutes from the M55, the development's well connected for commuting; while with a number of schools nearby, it's also well suited to those with families.

The show homes at Whitehill Meadows are open for viewing Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
