In recognition of its commitment to affordable housing in Manchester, north-west developer LPC Living has won an award for its Freshfields development in Charlestown.
Aimed at first-time buyers and key workers, Freshfields was the reason why LPC Living won the Manchester Evening News award for Best Affordable Development.
Freshfields is a revamped tower block that boasts modern living spaces, 24-hour CCTV, a residential gymnasium and concierge services.
"First-time buyers were given special priority access to the range of Freshfields homes, with availability on a first-come, first-served basis for the properties, which start at £69,950," said a spokesperson.
"This impressive deal resulted in massive interest from first time buyers, with 63 apartments sold in the first three weeks."
Earlier this year, LPC Living won several national property prizes at the Your New Home Awards for its regeneration work in Manchester.
