Linden Homes is offering to pay stamp duty for homebuyers in south Buckinghamshire, which was recently identified by Halifax as the most expensive place in England when it comes to paying this tax.
According to Halifax, the average cost of stamp duty in south Buckinghamshire is just over £21,240 - almost half the average earnings in this part of the country.
By offering to pay stamp duty at selected plots at its Wyatt Place development in Stoke Poges, Linden is certain that househunters could save up to £26,800 each.
"It really is an incredible offer and interest is anticipated to be high," said Zoe Dobbs, sales director for Linden Homes (Thames Valley).
"Therefore, I would recommend customers contact the show home and marketing suite as soon as possible, before these beautiful homes are snapped up."
Wyatt Place comprises seven four and five-bedroom homes and is surrounded by Buckinghamshire countryside.
For commuters, Slough Station offers frequent services to London Paddington.
At the Conservative Party Conference in Blackpool last year, shadow chancellor George Osborne, said the Tories would abolish stamp duty for first-time buyers on properties up to £250,000.
