A scheme in Chorley, Lancashire could save first time buyers a lot of trouble, according to Redrow Homes.

The option to own 100 per cent of a brand new home at 75 per cent of the price is available at selected new homes at Hallwood Gardens and Worden Court.

This means that a stylish two-bedroom apartment at Worden Court that would normally cost £134,995 can be bought for £101,245.

And at Hallwood Gardens, a two-bedroom apartment would cost less than £94,000 rather than the usual £124,995. Prices correct at the time of publication.

The remaining 25 per cent is deferred for up to a decade.

Chris Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes, said: "Redrow's easi-buy scheme is making home ownership more accessible to first time buyers."

Both developments are near to the M6 and M61 motorways, providing easy access to major north-west destinations, including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Lancaster and Warrington.
