The first residents of an award-winning regeneration project in Devonport have moved into their new homes.

Properties still available at Vision are priced from £118,000 for a one-bedroom flat and £180,000 for a three-storey four-bedroom townhouse. Prices are correct at time of publication.

The Redrow development is part of a project that will see the former Ministry of Defence site - an area once closed to the public - turned into a bustling community.

As well as 460 new homes, there will be a new supermarket, shops, offices and a managed workspace.

Debby Pavitt, sales director for Redrow Homes, said: "Our first residents mark another major step in the regeneration of Devonport."

The name Vision was chosen because Redrow "envisaged creating a brand new community" on a once closed-off site, she added.

Redrow's Vision was officially launched in May 2007. The event was marked by a family-friendly party that included a visit from Cosmo the clown.
