House buyers in the north-east can get £1,000 off the price of new homes by logging onto Barratt's website and asking for a brochure.

Once the details have been registered and a brochure has been requested, prospective purchasers can then download and print the voucher.

Barratthomes.co.uk has details of developments across the north-east, including layouts, floor plans, information on local amenities and show home opening hours.

"It's so simple and you can gain £1,000 for just two minutes' time," said sales manager Steve Mariner."

"It makes sense because once we have customer details we can automatically send them updates on our latest releases and offers."

Barratt is also offering a range of incentives including Head Start where buyers pay only 85 per cent and move in for just £99.

Hardwick Green in Stockton is one development that would-be buyers may want to consider. Remaining properties include three and four-bedroom homes with an upper price limit of £194,995 (correct at time of publication).
