A former show home is on offer in Horwich, which could tempt movers looking to settle in a fully-furnished property.
The Acron Village site in the area is home to a three-bedroom property which was previously an 18th century bleach works and is now available from developer Redrow for £250,000.
According to the builder, the property's orange, gold and grey colour scheme highlights the interior's "glamour", while the "expensive DIY problems" that come with buying a new home have been eradicated.
Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow, said: "Nowadays people's lives are very busy due to work or personal commitments, so buying a new home that has been designed and decorated by the experts
can be the route to a quick an easy move."
Elsewhere in the country, two four-bedroom show homes at the Scholars Way development in St Helens are due to be opened by builder Miller Homes this month.
