Discounts are available at a new property development in Durham, prompting "a lot of activity" at the new site.
Beechwood, located in the village of Sacriston three miles from the centre of Durham, offers purchasers a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting at £82,500.
And builder Barratt has in place a variety of financial incentives in order to tempt buyers.
"If you're a first-time buyer, you don't have to worry about finding the five per cent deposit and you could move in for just £99," sales manager for Barratt Steve Mariner stated, adding that a part-exchange service is also in place for those looking to sell their existing home.
But Mr Mariner urged buyers to move fast, remarking that the deals are only in place for a "limited period".
Barratt is also offering properties targeted at first-time buyers at its Fieldways development in Paulton, where prices start at £99,995.
