A new property development in south-west London has received Wimbledon FC-themed names in homage to a number of the club's former players and managers.
Barratt Homes' Sanctuary was given the name of Reynolds Gate in a ceremony organised at the site in honour of Eddie Reynolds, who played a key role in the club's FA Amateur Cup victory in 1963.
And six properties at the development have also received new names, including Lawrie House - named after former player and coach Lawrie Sanchez - and Bassett House - a homage to ex player, coach and manager Dave Bassett.
Dons fans interesting in purchasing a property at the site may be interested to note that prices begin at £196,995 for a studio apartment, while Barratt's Dream Start offer may enable buyers to pay only 75 per cent of a property's value up front in order to complete ownership.
Elsewhere in the capital, Barratt's new Viridian apartment development in Battersea is ideal for those making purchase for buy-to-let purposes, investor Rory Purcell stated recently.
