A new property development near Maidstone, Kent features the country's best starter homes, judges at this year's What House? Awards have decided.
Maine two-bedroom apartments at Berkeley Homes' Holborough site received a gold award in the Best Starter Homes Category - and buyers will have to hurry if they wish to purchase such a property, as there are currently only two remaining.
According to the developer, the homes benefit from Super E technology, which provides "superior levels" of insulation, helping to bring down heating bills.
Each of the properties features two bedrooms - one with an en-suite bathroom - as well as open plan living/dining room and a kitchen.
Piers Clanford of Berkeley Homes described the apartments - which are priced from £205,000 - as "excellent value for money", adding that they are "of the highest quality".
Berkley's West 3 London Apartments development may attract those looking for a property closer to the capital.
Prices at the site start begin at £235,000 for a studio home.
