West Midlands buyers looking for a low-cost home may wish to consider Barratt Homes' Westminster Place development in West Heath, Birmingham.
The house builder has only five homes remaining at the site, which were built according to planning requirements from Birmingham city council that were designed to help local homebuyers purchase their first property.
All of the two-bedroom apartments are priced under £90,000, with ground floor homes costing £85,750 and their first floor equivalents £89,565.
Sales director for Barratt West Midlands Graydon Worthing described the apartments as a "perfect" first property.
"Buyers have the chance to move straight in without having to worry about maintenance or DIY, meaning they are able to concentrate on enjoying their beautiful new home," he remarked.
Another Barratt development - Torre Marine in Torquay - could also be of interest to first-time buyers.
Prices for a property at the site start at £124,000 through the use of a Barratt financial initiative allowing buyers to pay only 50 per cent of a property's value when they move in.
