First-time buyers and families searching for a new home in Derbyshire could benefit from a deal offered by Barratt Homes.
The house builder has announced that it will meet the costs of council tax, water, gas and electricity bills until summer 2010 for those who purchase a property at one of its new developments.
A range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments are available as well as three and four-bedroom family homes at The Glade in Church Gresley, City Point in Wilmorton, Celtic Village in Worksop, The Spires in Chesterfield and Hallam Fields in Ilkeston.
Sales director at Barratt North Midlands James Poynor stated that "everyone" has felt the strain of paying high utility bills in the current climate.
"You could have literally thousands of pounds more to spend for the next year and a half, by which time economists think the worst of the recession will be over," he said.
Meanwhile, Miller Homes is offering buyers the chance to benefit from a part exchange scheme if they purchase a new home at its development in Chorley, Lancashire.
