First-time buyers keen on buying a new home have been offered a deposit-matching deal by Bryant homes on properties at its White Street development in Great Dunmow, Essex.
The development offers two-bedroom apartments from £139,995, as well as three-bedroom houses that start from £194,000 and the firm has said it is keen to help first-time buyers who may have difficulty raising the upfront sum to access these homes.
Regional sales manager for the builder Emily Gilchrist commented that if buyers can raise up to ten per cent of the asking price, "we'll match that to help them save thousands of pounds".
The development is situated close to the towns of Colchester and Chelmsford, as well as being seven miles from Stansted Airport.
First-time buyers keen on getting on the housing ladder may be encouraged by the incentive, as well as the possibility of cheaper mortgages as a result of the latest base rate cut.
The Bank of England has now lowered the rate to one per cent.
