Crest Nicholson has revealed the final phase of the Academy, an Edwardian college in Kilburn.

Said to be a unique development, it comes complete with two apartment buildings designed to a highly modern specification.

"Demand is rising in the area and this, coupled with the high specification of our homes, explains the popularity of this development so far and we expect the final phase to be just as sought after," commented Greg Ketteridge, managing director of Crest Nicholson South.

The original part of the building has a lot of character, Mr Ketteridge claims, with the new apartments appealing to those who want a more modern way of life.

Homebuy Direct is available at the site, meaning people can move into their new property for less.

In the last budget, chancellor Alistair Darling pledged more money to help the scheme, which aims to get first-time buyers on the property ladder.ADNFCR-1100-ID-19167558-ADNFCR
