Homebuyers struggling to save for a substantial deposit could take advantage of a fantastic offer from Redrow to double their money and get on the property ladder in Lincoln.

The award-winning housebuilder is currently offering a ‘deposit match’ scheme at its Debut @ Bunkers Hill venture; meaning however much the buyer has saved, Redrow will match it pound for pound up to a total of 5% of the purchase price.

This cash injection could make all the difference to a first time buyer looking to secure a mortgage and is available on the final phase of one and two-bedroom homes priced from just £61,995.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “One of the biggest problems facing first time buyers at the moment is having a big enough deposit to secure a mortgage at an affordable rate of interest. By matching any deposit they’ve saved we will be placing them in a better position. We can also put them in touch with an independent mortgage adviser to help them find the deal that suits them best.”

Built with the first time buyer in mind, the innovative Debut homes have proved invaluable in helping to make home ownership accessible, affordable and easy to manage for buyers new to the property ladder.

When it comes to running costs, Debut @ Bunkers Hill has another ace up its sleeve. The homes have been designed and built with sustainability in mind, potentially delivering lower fuel bills and less water consumption.

Another big advantage for Debut customers is the single monthly service charge, which includes the gas and electricity bills, plus water rates, buildings insurance, external maintenance and even the cost of window cleaning, which makes it so much easier for them to budget.

And, being brand new, they won’t require any of the costly repairs or modernisation of an older, run-down terraced house, which has traditionally been the choice of the cash-strapped first time buyer.

Available properties at Debut @ Bunkers Hill range in price from £61,995 for a single-storey, one-bedroom home to £89,995 for a two-bedroom design with its two double bedrooms and bathroom at entry level and a bright and airy open plan living space and kitchen above.

The venture is around two miles north of Lincoln city centre, with its world famous cathedral, castle, magnificent architectural heritage dating back more than 2,000 years and a thriving shopping centre. There are also local shops and amenities within walking distance of the development.
