Properties available under the HomeBuy Direct* scheme at Bryant Homes’ Millwood Grange development are proving popular with homebuyers in Greater Manchester.

A great way for first time buyers to get on the property ladder, HomeBuy Direct* is aimed at helping those with a household income of less than £60,000 afford their own home, through an interest free equity loan. This means that purchasers using the scheme can snap up a stylish three bedroom Aston or Delamere townhouse at Millwood Grange for just £115,465.*

Elaine Smith, regional sales manager, comments: “HomeBuy Direct has already helped a number of purchasers onto the property ladder so we’re delighted to be able to offer it to buyers at Millwood Grange. The scheme is designed to overcome the hurdles of high mortgage costs and larger deposits, which we know are preventing many people from buying in the current economic climate.”

The HomeBuy Direct loan is available for up to 30 percent of the value of the property, co-funded by the Homes and Communities Agency and Bryant Homes. No interest is charged on the equity loan for the first five years and the purchaser has to contribute the remaining equity, through an agreed mortgage. Buyers are also able to pay off the equity loan in instalments at any stage after the first 12 months or sell their HomeBuy property if they wish.

The Delamere is perfect for purchasers looking for three storeys of flexible living accommodation. On the ground floor is a spacious reception room to the rear of the home with French patio doors leading into the garden, a kitchen and useful cloakroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom is on the second floor and enjoys its own en-suite facilities, ensuring there will be no queues for the bathroom in the morning.

Offering something for everyone, Millwood Grange is a delightful development of three and four bedroom homes conveniently placed for access to Oldham, Middleton and Manchester further afield. Chadderton has everything you need for day to day living including shops, banks, a supermarket and a library. Nearby Oldham offers a variety of shops and two modern shopping malls with a traditional outdoor market.
