Home-owners fed up of the sight of their ‘For Sale’ sign can now find an easier way to move by choosing a brand new home at Bryant’s development in Herne Bay, Kent.

The leading house-builder is helping its customers take advantage of today’s lower prices now, by making new homes available in part-exchange for their existing property – or helping them to find a buyer and paying the estate agency fees.

Tina Westlake, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, explains: “While the property market is certainly picking up, many people are still struggling to sell their current home – and without a buyer, the chance of their offer being accepted on any new home can be seriously affected.

“Our part-exchange and Market Mover schemes at Herne Bay mean that people can reserve a new home secure in the knowledge that their existing property won’t hold them back.”

Using the part-exchange scheme, Bryant gains three independent valuations of the customer’s current property and agrees a purchase price with them, guaranteeing 100% of the value when their current home sells.

Through Market Mover, the house-builder again gains a valuation of the customer’s existing home and agrees a price, arranges the sale of the property through its appointed estate agents and picks up their bill – the complete process taking around four to six weeks.

Just one of the homes available using either of the schemes is the stunning four-bedroom ‘Elrington’, available from just £259,995.

A substantial, family-sized property, the ‘Elrington’ is beautifully designed over three floors and features a large ground floor kitchen with an exceptional open-plan living/dining area – perfect for today’s ‘kitchen-centred’ living.

A separate utility room, guest cloakroom and generous storage closet complete the practical facilities required in a family home.

Upstairs, the landing leads to a further reception room, a bathroom and two bedrooms, while the two top-floor bedrooms feature attractive dormer windows, and their own bathrooms.

For those seeking something a little less expansive, the three-bedroom, detached ‘Raglan’ home with integral garage at Plot 96 is priced only £214,995 and characterised by a spacious kitchen/dining room with bay window and doors to the rear garden, as well as boasting an en-suite master bedroom.

Customers can also choose from two-bedroom homes starting at just £169,995, while the selection of three and four-bedroom designs range in starting price from £184,995 to £259,995.

As an alternative to the Market Mover and part-exchange schemes, Bryant Homes offers a range of deals tailor-made for all types of buyers, including 5% deposit and legal fees paid for first-time buyers and incentives for those looking to invest in property.

All new homes at the development are finished to a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood, as well as coming with a two-year warranty from Taylor Wimpey and a 10-year National House-Building Council Warranty and insurance.

Bryant’s range of new homes in Herne Bay enjoy an excellent location close to Blue Flag beaches and within easy reach of the town centre, where shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants can be found.

The town is also a hive of sporting and cultural activity, including an annual arts festival, a cinema, a boating lake, water sports and cricket, golf, hockey, bowls and football, while a roller skating rink can be found on the pier.

Herne Bay Railway Station provides regular services to London Victoria, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate, Whitstable, Faversham, Gillingham and Rochester.

For those travelling further afield, the development is within easy reach of the Channel Ports and Eurostar services, while the historic city of Canterbury is a 15-minute drive away.
