Like many property-owners, Nigel and Kay Fairbairn found the process of trying to sell their home a particularly difficult and frustrating experience.

With young twins in tow, the Loughborough couple were eager to upsize to somewhere larger and more comfortable – but found themselves stuck in the starting blocks as they struggled to find a buyer for their three-bedroom semi.

Their difficulties came to an end, however, as soon as they paid a visit to Bryant Homes’ Peartree View development just a short distance from where they lived.

Thanks to the leading housebuilder’s Part Exchange scheme, they were able to offload their existing property for a great price – and are now looking forward to moving into a brand new four-bedroom detached home that’s perfect for their needs.

“We had been looking to move for about 12 months before we discovered Peartree View,” explains Nigel.

“At first, we tried to sell our home privately and although we had quite a bit of interest and managed to just about agree a sale, the buyer pulled out at the last moment. That was quite a frustrating and stressful time.

“But then we spoke to the sales team at Peartree View and they came up with a great part-exchange offer that was the ideal solution for us.

“It has taken a lot of the stress and hassle away from the whole experience of moving, right down to the little things like organising all our removals.

“Taylor Wimpey has really made life a lot easier, which is just what you’re looking for when you’ve got young kids in a situation like this.”

As far as the needs of his family are concerned, Nigel says the home they chose at Peartree View ‘has everything going for it’.

Ideally located just a short drive from his job at East Midlands Airport, the development is also close to the family’s exisiting home – and the size and layout means it’s the perfect place for three-year-olds Daniel and Eleanor to grow up.

“It’s a nice plot and it’s much more spacious for the kids than the place we’ve got at the moment,” Nigel adds.

“Daniel and Eleanor will each have their own room, we’ll have a spare room for guests and the garden is nice and big so it’ll be perfect for the kids to run around in.”

By purchasing their new home before it was built, Nigel and Kay have been able to choose from a range of interior fixtures and fittings to make sure the house is completed to their custom specification by the time they move in.

Buyers like the Fairbairns can also enjoy a wealth of other advantages by reserving a property at Peartree View off-plan, such as getting the pick of available plots and ensuring their home is guaranteed at today’s low cost – even if the prices of similar homes rise before it is completed.

A selection of great homes is now on sale at the popular development, including the impressive four-bedroom ‘Midhurst’, priced from just £254,995.

This stylish detached home boasts a spacious living room with French doors to the rear garden, a formal dining room, a modern kitchen and a handy utility room, as well as a guest cloakroom and study on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom, while three further good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom complete this magnificent accommodation.

Situated on the western edge of Loughborough, Peartree View offers homebuyers an abundance of leisure and entertainment within easy reach, including pubs, restaurants and bars, cinemas and theatres.

Also close at hand is a wide choice of sports and great days out at Donington Park race track, historic Belvoir Castle, legendary Sherwood Forest, the Great Central Steam Railway and breathtaking Rutland Water.

For commuters, Nottingham and Leicester are both easily accessible by road and rail, while the M1 is just a short distance away.
