It’s often said that moving house is one of the most stressful experiences a person can go through in their life – and for anyone who has suffered the hassle and headache of trying to sell a property, this saying may well ring true.

But with Taylor Wimpey East Midlands’ easymover incentive, swapping an unwanted property for a brand new, maintenance-free home couldn’t be more straightforward.

Under this stress-free scheme, purchasers can reserve their dream home at one of nearly two dozen developments across the region and then let the leading housebuilder help find a buyer for their current property and pay the estate agents’ fees.

While it can take several months to find a buyer on the open market, the average selling time for easymover customers is less than five weeks – although many see their homes sold within the first fortnight!

Ninety per cent of properties are sold successfully through the initiative, and the typical timescale from sale to exchange of contracts is just 10 weeks.

Kelly French, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “We know how difficult it can be to sell a property, and when you have your heart set on the home of your dreams, such a time-consuming and stressful process is the last thing you need.

“That’s why our easymover programme has been specifically designed to help make buying and moving to one of our high-quality homes simple and stress-free.

“We arrange everything – and foot the bill – so all our customers have to do is sit back, relax and look forward to their big move!”

Each development has its own dedicated referral agent – an estate agency with advanced knowledge and experience of the local property market to put easymover customers in the best position to sell their home quickly.

Taylor Wimpey can also help purchasers find a solicitor, and contribute to their legal fees, as well as an independent financial advisor with access to a range of attractive mortgage deals not available on the high street.

What’s more, customers can take advantage of the leading housebuilder’s free House 2 Home removals package from anywhere in the UK, which includes a full packing and unpacking service and insurance cover.

And, unlike second-hand properties, which can be riddled with expensive DIY difficulties, brand new Taylor Wimpey, George Wimpey and Bryant homes require no maintenance whatsoever – and each comes with a two-year housebuilder guarantee plus a 10-year warranty from the National House-Builders Council (NHBC).
