A high street bank is offering prospective home-buyers the chance to have their mortgage paid for a year.
Santander is making the deal open to prospective buyers and those already holding mortgages who request a full Santander home insurance quote.
All requests will automatically be entered into a prize draw to have their mortgage repayments paid on their behalf for 12 months.
Miguel Sard, the director of the bank's insurance arm, said: "This is a great opportunity for someone to be mortgage free for a year, at the cost of a simple enquiry into how best to get comprehensive cover for your home.
"In the current climate, offers like this are few and far between and we would encourage homeowners to make the most of the chance of this opportunity."
Earlier in the week, Santander increased the maximum mortgage size available to first-time buyers wanting to buy new build properties.
