Retirees looking to enjoy island life on the Isle of Wight have been flocking to McCarthy & Stone’s Medina Court development in Newport.

Over 75 per cent of one and two bedroom retirement apartments at the development on Old Westminster Lane have already been snapped up by purchasers since the official launch just over 15 months ago.

Aileen King, sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone South West, said: “We are delighted with the success of our Medina Court development but we are not surprised that it’s been so popular. It offers a combination that ticks all the boxes – a convenient location, access to amenities and stylish designs which people can see themselves living in.

“We believe that with the right advice and support, now is a great time to buy, and we offer a range of special incentives aimed at giving homebuyers that extra helping hand. Properties at the right price, like those at Medina Court, are attracting a lot of attention from buyers so I’d encourage prospective purchasers to come and see us soon to avoid disappointment.”

All apartments at Medina Court have been designed especially for retirement living and include features such as electrical sockets at a raised height to reduce bending, illuminated light switches, a camera entry system, easy grip lever taps in the bathroom and kitchen and energy efficient heating.

Residents at Medina Court can also enjoy landscaped gardens, socialise and relax in the communal lounge and invite family and friends to stay in the development’s guest suite.

Medina Court is a development of 46 one and two bedroom retirement apartments with prices starting from £169,950. The development is within a mile of Newport High Street, which offers an abundance of popular stores.

For further information about Medina Court please contact the show complex on 01983 822 559 or pop in from Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30am-5.00pm.
