Parents-to-be Steven and Ming Cole part-exchanged their way to a bigger, better, brand new home in Glenboig with Redrow.

With their first child due in May, the couple were looking for a new home more suited to raising a family than their two-bedroom end terrace.

“We had looked around at new homes in the Glasgow area but had been struggling to find a buyer for our old home until Redrow offered to buy it so we could buy one of theirs,” Steven explained.

“We liked the semi rural location of Garncroft Wynd and the fact that we could part-exchange our old home was a good motivator.”

The couple are now settled in their new three-bedroom ‘Irwell’ home.

“The part-exchange process was all very easy and straight forward. We were kept informed with everything. We didn’t have to bother with things like estate agents and arranging valuations as Redrow took care of all of that,” Steven said.

“And because it’s a new build you can choose things like the kitchen fittings and everything’s in pristine condition.”

Steven, who’s lived in new build homes in the past, added: “I would recommend Redrow because the quality of the homes is very good from the design to the interior specification. The customer support afterwards was excellent too.”

Surrounded by areas of natural beauty, yet within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling, Garncroft Wynd offers the best of both worlds.

Three-bedroom homes at Garncroft Wynd have been so popular with buyers that they have now sold out. Five different styles of four-bedroom homes are currently available, however, with prices starting from £169,950.

Mary McHutchison, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland), said: “Our spacious family homes at Garncroft Wynd are ideal for raising families with a good selection of local schools nearby. Those with an existing property to sell may find that they too can trade up to a bigger, better brand new home without the hassle of housing chains. With part-exchange, moving day doesn’t have to be a distant diary date.”

For more information about the homes available at Garncroft Wynd, visit the sales office and show home, off Inchneuk Road, Glenboig, open daily 10am to 5.30pm.
