New home buyers can take advantage of a fast-track scheme launched today (March 19th) by a UK homebuilder.
Stewart Milne Homes will allow customers to sell their current home within just five days, meaning that moving will be (a) much speedier process.
John Slater, the managing director of the company, said: "Even though the market is gaining momentum, we recognise that the speed of securing a sale for an existing property is still cause for concern and hinders many people's moving plans.
"We have, therefore, tailored our part-exchange plan one of our most popular products to provide customers with the offer of a guaranteed sale in the shortest possible timeframe."
The builder's part-exchange scheme has been customised to make it faster for buyers and sellers. Those wanting further information should attend events on-site across Scotland.
Part-exchange schemes have surged in popularity since the economic downturn. Home buyers wanting a quick sale are guaranteed to have their property bought, but this may be at a lower price than it is worth.
However, sellers could save thousands in estate agents' fees and also have the convenience in being able to stay in their property until they can move into their new home.
