The redevelopment of a former hospital in Eastbourne, East Sussex is "well under way", it has been announced.

Investors looking to expand their portfolios are being invited to contact Berkeley Homes regarding the redevelopment of All Saints Hospital in the Meads Conservation Area.

Already, the sales team has been "inundated" with enquiries regarding the 106 new and refurbished apartments, according to Berkeley.

"We have received a high level of enquiries, even at this early stage of development, because the scheme offers an outstanding location," said sales director David Campbell.

Investors are also attracted to the "superb" landscaped setting, the original Mother Superior's garden and a "delightful" wooded area.

Also in East Sussex is Berkeley's The Residence at Preston Park, where the remaining two-bedroom penthouses are now on sale.
