New apartments on a development in Buckinghamshire are proving particularly popular with buyers, with the last reservation put on the final property.

The popular apartment scheme in Hazlemere, near High Wycombe, is on the site of a former pub and the developer claims that it appeals to a mix of buyers, including young couples purchasing their first home.

Redrow Homes, which owns The Cedars, reports that the development has "brought new life to the area and helped to regenerate an otherwise redundant site", turning it into an attractive apartment complex with good connections to both High Wycombe and London.

Paul Moran, sales director for Redrow (Southern), commented: "We're delighted with the response we've had from buyers about this exciting development. It's obvious that people can see the potential that these properties have, from young couples to empty nesters wishing to downsize."

Comprising 20 one and two-bedroom apartments, The Cedars is surrounded by a network of popular villages and offers open plan living/kitchen/dining areas, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, with an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom in two bedroom apartments.

A recent Quality of Life survey from Halifax ranked Chesham in Buckinghamshire sixth, with the average flat costing £150,000. A total of 549 post towns were studied and a list was drawn up of the places that offer the best value for money for first-time buyers and those looking to relocate.
